👀 You can see every message here, but only the tutor and students can post.
🏷️ Subjects
Rename them, change the emoji or colour, or add your own. Tap the emoji box to use the emoji keyboard.
🧑🎓 Students
Only emails on this list can sign in. Use the Google account each student will sign in with.
👪 Guardians
Guardians can see the class chat and their own child's assignments and photos — read-only, and only for the children you tick. One guardian can be linked to more than one child (handy for siblings or twins).
🔔 Phone alerts
Alerts come through the free ntfy app. They only say who sent something (like “💬 New message from Maya”), never the message itself.
- On your phone, install ntfy from the App Store (or Google Play).
- Open it, tap +, and type your code exactly:
- Tap Subscribe and allow notifications. Then test it:
Students each have their own code, shown under their name in the list above. They can also find it in their Chat tab. Your chat messages will ping every student who has set it up.
